About the Role
As Product Manager for KUBTEC’s Operating Room imaging systems, your portfolio will include KUBTEC’s flagship product – The Mozart (iQ) System. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business and achieving the company’s growth goals. This role will drive product strategy and guide product development, as well as ensure on-market success through brand awareness activities, lead generation strategies, evidence development and sales support. With opportunities to make a meaningful impact and engage in a variety of strategic and tactical initiatives, the role encompasses the full spectrum of product management and marketing responsibilities, covering both upstream and downstream functions, and providing support on a regional (U.S.) and global scale.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Develop comprehensive business strategies for the OR product portfolio.
• Prepare and present detailed business plans for review and alignment.
• Develop and maintain multiyear Portfolio Roadmaps, aligned to business strategy.
• Inform product development and product change projects with customer and business insights.
Customer Insights and Business Analytics
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, emerging trends, and competitive insights.
• Conduct voice-of-customer (VOC) research to refine product positioning and address customer needs.
• Track and analyze financial and performance metrics, including sales pipeline data and marketing KPIs, to guide strategic decisions.
Marketing Planning & Commercialization
• Create and execute annual marketing plans for OR product portfolio, including managing the product marketing budget to optimize resources and maximize impact.
• Lead the commercial rollout of new product launches and associated tactical marketing initiatives.
Brand Strategy & Marketing Communications
• Craft and maintain a cohesive brand strategy for the OR product portfolio, ensuring consistency across channels.
• Lead development of impactful sales materials and tools.
• Leveraging digital and CRM tools for targeted campaigns.
• Collaborate on promotional strategies for trade shows, conventions, and events to enhance visibility.
Sales Support
• Work closely with US sales team to execute growth strategies and support account-based targeting.
• Serve as a product expert, providing internal training and responding to technical inquiries.
• Equip distributors with marketing resources to strengthen regional sales efforts.
Market Shaping & Development
• Build and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in breast surgery and specimen imaging.
• Support initiatives in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and relevant clinical publications.
• Lead educational programs, including webinars, to inform the market on product benefits.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
• 7+ years Product Marketing and/or Product Management experience.
• Prior medical device experience essential.• Experience with Operating Room marketing or sales is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of breast cancer surgery market highly preferred.
• Proficiency in both upstream and downstream marketing within complex technology sectors.
• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Maintains a proactive, positive, and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects, with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with, and collaborate in, a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25%).
