We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our young and talented team of engineers in building cutting edge technology, impacting human lives in the cancer treatment field. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's technological direction and ensuring that our engineering efforts are aligned with our overall business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the engineering organization, including the technical roadmap.
- Oversee all aspects of the engineering lifecycle, from concept to development and deployment.
- Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Manage the engineering budget and resources effectively.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
- Collaborate closely with production and other departments to ensure seamless product development.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest engineering trends and technologies.
- Develop and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure that the engineering organization meets all deadlines and quality standards.
- Represent the engineering organization to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies
- Experience in developing and managing a technical roadmap.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.
- Passion for building innovative products and technologies.

- Experience in managing a complex engineering organization.
- Experience in Systems engineering approach to innovative product creation.
- An advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
