The XPERT® 80 Specimen Radiography System

The XPERT 80 Specimen Radiography System

When it comes to imaging routine gross specimens in the pathology lab, Pathologists and Pathologists’ Assistants rely on the proven power and reliability of the XPERT 80 System for unsurpassed image quality, ease of use, and efficiency.

The XPERT 80 System’s large 23 cm x 29 cm detector provides high-resolution X‑ray images for pathology specimens of all sizes. The integrated HD camera automatically creates optical images of your specimen for your use as a reference and to upload to your LIS.

Particularly for the gross room, The XPERT 80 System features the proprietary Image Blender™, an essential tool that helps reduce turnaround time for the patient specimen. The Image Blender™ combines your X‑ray and optical images for the most comprehensive view of your specimen's anatomy.

Specifically for pathology, the XPERT 80 CopyPath feature enables you to export your X‑ray and optical images to external systems outside of PACS for remote viewing.

The XPERT 80 uses a 5-micron microfocus X‑ray source to provide image resolution of up to 100 lp/mm to enable you to see the smallest detail of your specimens.

The XPERT 80‑L Specimen Radiography System

With the largest detector available 43 cm x 43 cm, the XPERT 80-L system images the widest variety of specimens ranging from the smallest lymph nodes right up to a full-term fetus or adult femur. Where fetal demise investigation is needed the high-resolution XPERT 80-L system provides rapid, highly detailed images to measure gestational assessment, malformations, and skeletal dysplasia.

Particularly for the gross room, The XPERT 80-L System features the proprietary Image Blender™ an essential tool that helps reduce turnaround time for the patient specimen. The Image Blender™ combines your X‑ray and optical images for the most comprehensive view of your specimen’s anatomy.

The XPERT® 20 Core Radiography System

The XPERT 20 Core Specimen Radiography System

The most compact, most powerful, easy-to-use core radiography system for the biopsy suite. With five times the imaging area compared to the Faxitron® CoreVision® the XPERT 20 System captures the most cores in a single image. What's more, it occupies thirty percent less bench space than the Faxitron® CoreVision®.

By reducing the need for multiple image capture, the XPERT 20 system decreases the time the patient spends under compression. For added convenience, the XPERT 20 system is available for benchtop installations or on a mobile cart, requires no specialized specimen container, and can accommodate most commonly available containers.

Image Blender™

The Image Blender combines X‑ray images and optical images together, identifying the location of your markers directly on the physical specimen.
